At JSH Interiors, I believe great design begins with truly understanding the people who live in the home. Every project begins with listening—understanding your family’s rhythms, routines, and dreams for how you want your home to feel. From there, my philosophy unfolds through three guiding principles: Livable, Elevated, and Timeless. These values shape every decision I make, ensuring your home is as functional as it is beautiful, as welcoming as it is refined, and as enduring as the memories you’ll create within it.
Livable
A home should be as comfortable as it is beautiful. I design spaces that welcome family and friends, support daily routines, and invite you to truly live in them—with ease, grace, and intention.
Elevated
True luxury lies in thoughtful details. From refined finishes to curated layers of texture and color, I craft interiors that feel sophisticated yet inviting, designed to reflect the way you love to live.
Timeless
Rather than chasing trends, I focus on designs that feel relevant, personal, and well considered for years to come — spaces that grow with your family and continue to feel right through every stage of life.
Hi! I’m Julie Haag.
I founded JSH Interiors after previously owning Mini Interiors, a luxury interior design firm focused solely on children’s spaces. My philosophy is deeply rooted in creating warm, inviting homes that are both beautiful and family friendly.
I grew up in Massachusetts and have spent my adult years in California, with designs strongly influenced by the coast and nature. My aesthetic is timeless and classic. I spent 18 years in the corporate world of luxury home furnishings, an experience that deepened my love and appreciation for good design. When I’m not creating, I love to play tennis, travel, spend time with family and friends, and get lost in an Elin Hilderbrand book. My husband and I have four children and one very active household.
Based in Newport Beach, California, I offer full-service residential interior design for large homes, including renovations, new construction, and full-home furnishings throughout Orange County and beyond. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions or surface-level design. I believe in listening closely, guiding confidently, and creating homes that feel calm, functional, and beautifully lived in.
